Your next client is searching Google right now. Is your firm showing up?
Law firms that rank on Google and AI searches get the intake. Ones buried on page two don't. A fast, structured site built for search is how you rank — and how you turn visitors into clients.
The Visibility Gap
Invisible in Local Search
Directories, ads, and larger firms dominate the top results. Without a fast, well-structured site, your firm never appears where potential clients are actually looking.
AI Tools Skip Your Site
ChatGPT, Google's AI Overviews, and Gemini cite fast, semantically structured sites. Slow, disorganized ones are invisible to AI — and your competitors are taking that real estate.
Slow Sites Lose Visitors Fast
Three seconds is all you get. Page speed is a direct Google ranking factor — and a slow site loses the visitor before they read a single word about your practice.
No Intake = Lost Revenue
Interested visitors land on your site and leave without doing anything. No clear form, no obvious next step, no intake. That's not a traffic problem — it's a conversion problem.
What Actually Works
Three things that separate ranked law firms from invisible ones.
Speed
Core Web Vitals passing means Google rewards you with higher rankings and visitors stay. A fast site signals professionalism before a potential client reads a single word.
AI-Friendly Structure
Semantic HTML, LegalService schema markup, and clear content structure tell AI systems exactly who you are and what you practice — that's how firms get cited in AI-generated answers.
Intake-First Design
Every page is built around one question: what do you want the visitor to do next? Clear CTAs, frictionless forms, and practice area pages that guide someone from search to submission.

Common Questions
Straight answers about law firm websites.
Do I need a Clio subscription for the Clio integration plan?
Yes. The Clio integration plan requires an active Clio Grow subscription. Clio Grow starts at around $49/month and handles the intake pipeline, automated follow-ups, and conflict checks. I build and maintain the site and integration — Clio handles the CRM side.
Can I start with email intake and upgrade to Clio later?
Absolutely. The email intake plan is built on the same solid foundation — switching to a Clio integration later is a scoped upgrade, not a rebuild. Plenty of firms start simple and add the automation once they're ready.
Will this actually improve my Google ranking?
A well-built site is one of the most reliable ways to improve organic rankings. Fast page speed, proper schema markup, local SEO setup, and mobile-first design all directly influence where Google places your firm. There's no silver bullet, but these fundamentals consistently move firms up the results page.
How long does it take to build?
A focused law firm landing page typically takes 2–4 weeks. A fuller multi-practice-area site runs 4–8 weeks. Timeline depends on how quickly you can turn around feedback and whether you have existing content ready. I'll give you a realistic estimate upfront and stick to it.
What if I already have a website?
A free audit is the right starting point. I'll look at your current site's speed, SEO structure, and intake flow and give you a straight assessment of what's actually hurting your rankings versus what's working. Then you decide whether a rebuild or an optimization makes more sense.
Do you work with firms outside the Vail Valley?
Yes. Most of my work is done remotely and I'm set up for clients anywhere. Local clients in Eagle County and Summit County can meet in person if preferred — but geography is never a barrier.
